Lundie Loop
Superior Comfort Ptosis Prop
Lundie Loop
To the original design of Mr Lundie these are manufactured using high grade skin safe stainless steel. The contact surface is covered with hypoallergenic tubing to enhance comfort.
The Lundie loop is a circular prop and exerts light upward force to assist the lift of the lid in a controlled and reliable action. This type of prop is a permanent fixture and can be custom fitted to most frame types.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Superior comfort during prolonged wear
- Ergonomic design with soft lift
- Excellent durability
- Easy for user to fit
Half Loop
Fixed Position Crutch
Half loop
The half loop maintains the same comfort contact surface geometry as the Lundie Loop.
This type of loop typically exhibits a stiffer lift than the Lundie Loop and performs best in cases of complete muscle failure. This is a permanent fixture and can be custom fitted to most spectacle frames.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Increased lift when compared with Lundie Loop
- ergonomic fit for comfort during prolonged wear
- Excellent durability
- Easy for user to fit
Spring Bar
Lever Style Prop
Spring Bar
The prop is fixed permanently to the temporal region of the frame, making the lift slightly stronger temporally.
We find this type of prop perfect for light to moderate lift or when the muscle requires a light pressure to engage natural movement.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Comfortable during prolonged wear
- Excellent durability
- Easy for user to fit

Adjustable Prop
Nylon Loop Prop
The Nylon Prop benefits from excellent wearer comfort and lift. It can be fitted to plastic and metal frames. The prop can be adjusted easily within the practice.
This design requires the cord to be trimmed after adjustment. This prop is a little less comfortable but benefits from a greater cosmetic finish.
Easy to follow written instructions are included and guidance from our dispensing optician is available when needed.
The props can be secured with an instant bond glue; however, we recommend using the supplied UV curing glue pen as a safer alternative.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Impact safe design
- Discrete
- Excellent durability
- Easy for user to fit
