Personalised Pads
Set the scene for your logo using one of our shape variations. Choose from click, screw or PRIMADONNA nose pads.
Single-foil or double-foil printing are possible, so is ink printing with up to four colours.
Air Cushion Pads
Air-cushion nose pads, an F&W invention, offer extraordinary wear comfort in comparison to regular nose pads, and are the high-end solution for spectacles.
In addition to the well-known benefits of silicone pads, an integrated air-cushion system distinctly optimises wearing comfort. Inside the silicone cover is a hollow chamber to which an opening at the one end works like a valve enabling the nose pad to perfectly and automatically self adjust.

Click System Pads
Original click-type pad arms - invented by F&W decades ago - do not require any screws for mounting, which makes their handling very easy. After the nose pad clicks into the pad-arm box, the spring tension closes the box automatically. The result: a perfectly placed nose pad!

Screw System Pads
This classic system is well-tried and is still the most widely used. Some frame manufacturers prefer the screw system for aesthetic reasons. F&W screw-type pad arms have more threads (0.65 mm instead of 0.51 mm), therefore holding the screw better in place.

Primadonna system Pads
Another Frey & Winkler invention - the Primadonna is small and inconspicuous, and particularly suitable for thin eyeglass rims, the pad-arm diameter being only 1.0 mm. Fixing the Primadonna nose pad is fast and easy - forget the time-intensive screwing the nose pad in place. Another particular advantage is the nose pad's lateral mobility - adding wear comfort from all angles. No matter whether round, oval, drop-shape or trapezium-shape; made of silicone or PVC or metal; with or without air cushion - F&W not only offers nose pads, but also matching pad arms.
PVC Pads
As an alternative to silicone, F&W offers a wide range of nose pads made of phthalate-free PVC.
Just like our silicon pads, our PVC pads open up innumerable possibilities for customizing and personalizing by means of a logo foil or ink printing.
SoftWings®
SoftWings® are our recommendation when it comes to big and heavy special frames, such as safety glasses, sports glasses, medical glassess and many more. Our soft silicone provides wearing comfort without irritating pressure marks and prevents the frames from slipping.
The stainless-steel inlay allows the bridge to be perfectly adjusted to the wearer’s nose.
Available for acetate and metal frames in different colours and sizes.
Metal Pads
If you want your glasses to stand above the competition and shine with a high-quality finish, the little "extra" that comes from stainless steel or even titanium is the perfect choice.
Apart from a smooth-polished surface, you can choose to have a sandblasted surface or even a personalized, engraved one.
Metal pads are the ideal choice in comparison to many other materials. Their surface can neither absorb nor release any potentially allergenic substances, which makes them ideal for people with skin problems. In contrast to other metal pads, our titanium pads are very lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
MiniFits
Minifits are the discreet solution for acetate frames, in order to improve their wearing comfort.
The silicone nose pad has two integrated studs that are pushed into the two bores prepared in the frame.
Drilling templates for positioning the bores correctly can be provided, if necessary.
Saddle Bridges
Focusing on high comfort, F&W offers anatomical bridges made of anti-allergenic, crystal-clear silicone. The pad runs over the nose bridge and is fixed to the corresponding pad arms via two polycarbonate inlays inside.
This construction raises the frame, which is mainly useful in the case of heavy spectacles and small children's noses.
On request, the inlay can be personalised with a logo.
Sportflex

The flexible inlay and the curved end evenly distribute pressure behind the ear - a stable and comfortable hold is guaranteed!
Be it princess pink, dragon slayer green or pirate black - you will find the suitable colour for each frame.
Temple Tips
Temple tips are an elegant solution to enhance the ear comfort of ultra-thin metal frames, whose temples are sometimes sharp-edged. Our silicone temple tips are simply pulled over the temple and guarantee stable hold, less slipping and, last but not least, more comfort.
Comfort covers are available in a great variety of lengths and canals to match your frame. They come in transparent and black to coordinate easily
System 3
System 3 was developed by F&W and is the perfect choice for milled frames.
With only one exception, all System 3 nose pads are completely made of silicone. Simply push the nose pad into the pad arm loop - it's that easy.
Thanks to its great success, the range of nose pads includes a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colours. In addition, you can find suitable pad arms specifically designed for System 3 nose pads, which also come in a wide range of materials and shapes, for metal and for acetate frames.
System 4
Optimising the advantages of our popular System 3 led to System 4. The smaller nose-pad foot allows more flexibility and comfort on the contact area of the nose pad. Mounting the nose pad is made especially easy thanks to rotary protection.
Currently two versions of the nose pad and pad arm are available. Further shapes are bound to follow.
Shade 2®
Fantastic looking acetate frames quite often lack wearing comfort. Shade 2® is the proper remedy to this problem. The combination of a titanium pad arm and a silicone nose pad follows the frame's curve in perfect harmony. The resulting increased wear comfort is also useful for sports frames.
This system also offers a pad shape that is especially suitable for the Asian market.

Pocket System
A further possibility for fixing nose pads on striking/catchy/bold/dramatic eyewear, consists of a one-piece pad arm made of stainless steel combined with a silicone nose pad. The pad arm is like a "hand" slipping into the nose-pad pocket as the pad arm glides into the silicone nose pad.
The pad arms are also available with gooseneck bending for the Asian market or with rivets for acetate frames.
Acetate / Plastic Solutions
Thanks to state-of-the-art fixing systems plastic and acetate frames can be individually adjusted.
Regardless of whether you prefer click, screw or System 3, everything is available. In our product portfolio, you will find pad arms in different sizes and bendings, and made of titanium, stainless steel, Monel or nickel silver.
Rimless Double Pins
Double bushes are the subtle solution for rimless frames, discreet and at the same time stable. Our bushes are available in several sizes and lengths, furthermore you can choose between three hardness grades.
Silicone Lens Rings
Our silicone lens rings are used for the decoration of rimless frames, giving them a colourful, striking look. In addition, they also provide some protection to the lenses.
All rings are made of a softener-free silicone meeting the currently valid REACH regulations. Thanks to their excellent material properties, the lens rings are resistant against embrittlement, offering a high tensile strength (>300%) and a low compression set.
